AUTRY AUTOMATION · VOICE DEMO
How callers choose follow-up texts
Autry Automation is operated by Tyler Autry. This process applies to callers trying our fence assistant demonstration at (229) 629-3227. Oakwood Fence is the fictional example contractor.
1. The caller speaks with Alex
The caller initiates the call. Alex identifies the recorded demonstration and the AI assistant, answers approved service questions, and collects the request. Calling alone does not authorize text messages.
2. Alex asks for permission
The voice agent is instructed to use this consent prompt near the end of the conversation:
Would you like Autry Automation to send follow-up texts about this fence demo inquiry? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS terms and privacy are on the Autry Automation demo website. Do you agree?
Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. The request can be handled without texting. Review the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy before agreeing.
3. The answer controls the follow-up
A clear affirmative answer is recorded as Yes in the contact’s SMS permission field. A decline, silence, uncertainty, or no permission question is recorded as No. The call recording/transcript and contact record document the interaction. The owner’s email summary is independent of the caller’s text choice.
After the call, the text workflow checks the permission field and SMS opt-out status. Only eligible callers receive inquiry-related follow-up. STOP blocks further texts; a later call does not clear that status. Callers can text START to opt back in.
